Times Square — Happy New Year!
The year wouldn’t be complete without making one last visit to the iconic Times Square in the ❤ of #NewYorkCity!
So with two days to go, before we all yell out the countdown, 3–2–1, I ventured over to Times Square, Broadway, and 42nd Street, to be exact, which is also the location of ABC’s Good Morning America.
Since I won’t be physically at #TimesSquare during the night of New Year’s Eve, standing outside with the millions of people braving the elements waiting to watch the ball drop, I figured I would do the next best thing and take a ride over there.
Thus, allowing myself the pleasure of strolling around this soon-to-be crowded place early this morning, checking out the sights of what is sure to be a memorable night!
Are you getting excited?
As I walked around blissfully, I could not help but think about the legendary Dick Clark and his New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show, which I watched with my family when I was growing up in the borough of Brooklyn.
With that lovely thought now swirling around in my head, I began walking around slowly, capturing my thoughts in my journal app while taking some of my signature pictures with my Apple iPhone.
Like I’ve done on several occasions throughout this year, I politely invite you to take a ride with me, and you graciously accept with a massive smile on your face. 😊
So for the last time in 2021, summon your imagination and transport yourself into the virtual #AnthonySledge mobile, and buckle up your seatbelt for another memorable ride. Let’s do it!
Now with you riding shotgun, we proceed to cruise around Times Square, ending our year together with lots of laughter and having a fabulous time.
Well, friends, that does it for my final 2021 #LinkedIn post, and I trust you will enjoy looking at the slideshow.
Without a shadow of a doubt, every minute we spent together was #inspiring, and the pleasure was all mine.
Before you go, I want to remind you to be on the lookout for the release of my first book in the New Year. More to come in late January or early February.
I wish you a healthy, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year!
