Midway through my most recent early morning run, I was suddenly mesmerized by the #beauty of the sun rising, which stopped me dead in my tracks!
As a result, I felt obligated to pause my jog for a brief moment to admire the magnificence of the sun rising, together with everything else nature bestowed upon me and my brown eyes.
As I stood in amazement behind a tall group of pretty cream-colored bushes, examining the scenery with a kid-like fascination while at the same time; listening to and feeling the cold air crashing up against my body.
What’s more, the longer I stood next to the bushes, soon with my hands in my pocket, the more relaxed I felt with every passing second, leading me to be in complete harmony with the universe.
Without even knowing, I was now sitting down on the frozen grass in my most comfortable yoga position, meditating and lost in thought!
I came out of this meditative state when I heard the sound of two dogs barking nearby, approaching me fast from my left as a friend of my mine was walking them.
After deliberately taking a moment to savor this incredible feeling of peacefulness I had just experienced inside, I glanced down at my Apple Watch, which read 6:58 am; then, I stood up and started jogging towards my house.
Also worth mentioning, those few minutes of being fully absorbed in the present moment centered me and laid the groundwork for another successful day.
