Met Life Tower Clock

While taking a stroll this Tuesday evening, I decided to take a trip down memory lane when I was jogging near the Met Life Tower Clock 🕜 in the #Flatiron District on a cold Saturday morning in February of last year.

The time was 6:45 am, as you can see in the above image, and when I walked out from the 23rd street subway station, I immediately noticed that the streets of #NYC were devoid of people. Wow!

After thinking about how odd it was to see the streets in #NewYorkCity with so few people, I quickly shifted my thoughts on the beauty of this rare moment and the gorgeous scenery all around.

Before I knew it, I found myself walking across 23rd Street and down 5th Avenue slowly, fully embracing the present moment while admiring the sights and sounds of my beautiful city.

Eventually, I made my way over to a cool-looking red and beige bench near the Flatiron building (slides-8 & 9), where I suddenly decided to stop and sit down for a few minutes to journal my thoughts!

Friends, please stop reading for a moment, take a look above, and imagine sitting with me on the bench chatting for a little while.

Indeed, it was a pleasant conversation that ended with a friendly hug and warm smile. 😊

Well, folks, that does it for this spur-of-moment post. I hope you enjoyed our latest virtual walk together around the Big 🍎.

Have a relaxing evening.
