Grand Central Terminal

After leaving the New York Public Library, inspired and full of blissfulness, I went on to gallivant around the city, happy-go-lucky, before heading back to Grand Central Terminal to hop on the 4-train.

Since I wasn’t in a hurry to get back to the crib, I made it a point to intentionally absorb the sights, sounds, and unique vibe of New York City, which feels extra special during the holiday season!

Once I finished roaming around the streets of midtown Manhattan, I was ready to go home, so I started making my way towards Grand Central Station.

When I reached Park Avenue and East 42nd Street and looked straight ahead, my eyes landed on the main entrance of Grand Central Terminal, and I instantly became mesmerized by its splendor!

Friends, I stood still for nine consecutive minutes admiring the stunning view of this iconic building while also observing people in the vicinity enjoying themselves tremendously.

Then, while still fully consumed with this moment, I decided to stroll around the area with a tourist-like mindset, capturing my thoughts and taking some of those #AnthonySledge signature photos along the way.

It’s important to point out that it was freezing outside, so before I could start journaling my thoughts into my iPhone and taking some pics, I had to take off my black leather gloves. Those who know me personally would attest that I am no fan of cold weather, so knowing my hands were about to be exposed for an extended period, my sense of urgency to get inside Grand Central, surely, would soon intensify. Lol!

All kidding aside, I embraced this present moment enthusiastically and began walking around slowly, snapping pictures, typing into my journal app, and periodically introducing myself to some random folks because it just felt right to do so.

As a result, I ended up meeting a lovely couple from South Florida who was in town for the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins football game and gave them some restaurant recommendations.

Well, friends, I will stop it here. Please know, I share all of my posts with pleasure and with the intent of virtually sprinkling #kindness and joyfulness throughout the world through my effortless storytelling ability and newly discovered picture-taking talent. 😊

Moreover, I want to thank so many of you for inspiring me through our beautiful encounters. I look forward to our continued growth together on LinkedIn and other social platforms, respectfully.

Enjoy my latest slideshow, and please let me know which image is your favorite.

Have an enjoyable Sunday and a fantastic week ahead. Let’s go!
