Frank Sinatra Statue in Hoboken

I popped up bright and early this Monday morning, got dressed, and rushed over to the heart ❤ of Hoboken to meet up with my #running crew.

Even though it was drizzling outside, the temperature was in the upper 30’s, so the elements we were about to endure were mild compared to yesterday’s weather.

Friends, I landed in Hoboken a little after seven o’clock, and as soon as I arrived, I spotted a bench near the Frank Sinatra statue and proceeded to sit down on it.

While sitting on the bench shown below, I immediately started focusing on the statue, which happened to have a view of Midtown #Manhattan in the background, making for a spectacular sight!

Since I had roughly eleven minutes before my friends arrived, I figured that I would take some pictures and journal my thoughts to pass the time.

So without hesitation, I stood up and began walking around the area slowly, occasionally stopping to take a pic while savoring the moment and then capturing my thoughts into my #iPhone.

Soon, I was standing beside the tree you see below, and that’s when I heard the footsteps of a runner coming up on me fast, and when I turned my head to look in that direction, it was someone I knew, so we waved at each other, and she kept it moving!

After that brief and pleasant encounter, I continued walking around until all of the members of my jogging crew arrived.

On the way home after our run, it took me six minutes to complete this journal entry, and upon looking at the photos I had just taken, I decided to share a portion of my newest journal entry with you for your reading and viewing delight. 😊

Have a relaxing Monday.
