An Evening Stroll to the Bodega
--
On a freezing Wednesday night in the city, I decided to brave the cold weather elements and take a quick stroll to a nearby bodega to pick up a few of my guilty pleasures, which included a bag of SkinnyPop Popcorn.
While en route to the family-owned grocery store, I began to take notice of the dazzling blend of the lights in my direct line of sight as I made my way down the block.
From the creme-color lights shining from the windows on the Goldman Sachs Tower to the neon green lamp-posts reflecting soft light onto tree limbs, along with the colors of the traffic lights, the scenery started to make me feel warm as well as calm inside.
As I continued strolling towards the bodega, the topic for the next issue of my newsletter unexpectedly popped into my head, so I quickly jotted down the key points of my thoughts at that moment.
As a result of this action, I will easily recall and finish developing those thoughts bright and early this upcoming Saturday morning for my newsletter and publish my third article at 11 am sharp!
Once I finished collecting my thoughts while standing on the corner illustrated below, I put my gloves back on and waved at a friend that happened to be walking by with his dog. Lol!
Since I found the imagery before me so relaxing and inspiring, I decided to share the photos I took and a portion of my journal entry, hoping it would have a similar soothing and uplifting effect on you.
And with that said, I wish you a relaxing night and look forward to engaging with you for a little while this evening.
Stay warm!
