An Evening Stroll to Decompress

After completing work, I went outside for a brisk walk to decompress from a hectic day.

I was also hungry during this time, so once I cleared my head, it was time to figure out what I wanted to eat for dinner.

Since this was one of those nights that I didn’t know what I wanted to eat, the first restaurant that grabbed my attention would be where I would land for dinner.

As I roamed around the neighborhood, I soon felt like journaling, and instead of ignoring this sudden desire, I started jotting down my thoughts!

Upon typing a few sentences into my Evernote journal app, I paused for a moment, took a look to my left, behind me, and then straight ahead, and the view of the lighting, combined with the imagery all around, was visually pleasing, which instantly captured my imagination.

Friends, you know what happened next, click-click-click, which is the sound of my taking some pics!

As soon as I finished snapping photos with my #iPhone, I continued journaling my thoughts while walking up the block, eventually landing at an authentic Turkish Mediterranean restaurant where I had a delicious meal.

Well, folks, that does it for this spur-of-moment post. I would love to engage with you in the comments section for a little while tonight, so feel free to share your thoughts.

Also worth mentioning, I will be publishing the next issue of my📝newsletter, #Reflections by AnthonySledge, on Saturday, January 22 and 11 am sharp.

Enjoy your dinner and have a pleasant evening.
